Strong points: Beautiful images of this woodpecker. Each of them individual would be a good shot by itself. Beautiful colours. Good detail and sharpness.

Possible weaknesses: The presentation. The images lined up without any borders/divisions make for a good series, but make the whole thing look a bit bland. The storyline is weak.

Technicals: Great colours, great detail and sharpness. Amazing you got this sharp at F5.6! Love the bokeh at the left in the top right image. The processing seems adequate for each individual image, although they might benefit from a tad more definition (shadow/highlights or curves or so).

Overall: A beautiful series of images, I almost think they would be better by themselves than arranged in a series.

This is a nice shot but I think there should be a border around each picture. The contrast between them is to stark without it. JMO.

To be perfectly honest and blunt. Flower photos don't do much for me. It has to be really special in order to gain my attention if it is a flower photo. This just isn't one of them. But I'll give it longer consideration in order to give you feedback...

The colors seems overdone, but bland at the same time, if that makes any sense at all...it doesn't to me. The yellows in the flower seem to override the detail itself. The rest of the image just seems cluttered with no purpose. I think the angle of the shot might have something to do with this.

Like I said, flowers just aren't my cup of tea, but everyone deserves some feedback if they take the time to put up the shot...I apologize for voting and not commenting.

I think this series of photos could have been improved if the photos were bordered with white or on a white background. I love the muted colours.
