Peace, Serenityby leavingmyselfComment by codfish: Great clarity in this photo, perhaps using a fill flash to gain detail under the chin could add, but overall a beautiful shot. |

Peace, Serenityby leavingmyselfComment by Atropos: There's not enough light on the front of the statue which somewhat detracts from the effect of the image. I usually take a nice bright wide-beam flashlight with me for reasons such as this (it's easier to carry around than a flash, and I don't have a flash anyways except for the built-in).
I think it wouldn't have made such a difference if the sky behind it wasn't so bright, but it just makes the subject hard to look at.
I do like the shot, just a little constructive criticism. |

Shoes for 2by leavingmyselfComment by saracat: This would be a more aesthetically pleasing photo if _either_ you lined up the shoes with the lines on the floor _or_ you laid them out so that it looks as though you _deliberately_ did not line them up. This looks like they were tossed out there and photo'd at the last minute. Also, you have a lot of glare from your lighting (flash?) and it looks like you played with the color and saturation a little too much - or perhaps not enough! Another angle might have made this a little more visually appealing - they look a little like they're in a police line-up at the moment. Not a very positive critique, I know, but hopefully I've given you some things to think about and maybe try the next time you shoot something like this. |

Shoes for 2by leavingmyselfComment by melismatica: The shoes are kind of beat up for a fashion spread. I don't like the mismatched pairing of them. Also, this looks like the contrast was increased to disguise poor focus or image quality. Sorry, this just doesn't work for me on any level. Keep trying. |

Shoes for 2by leavingmyselfComment by Tammer: For me, the lighting is a bit too harsh and on the yellow side. I'm curious how this would look if you had lined the shoes up perpendicular with the lines of the flooring. |
