Overgrownby bob_bobskiComment by quiche: Very interesting. Wouldn't have thought an infrared look would be a good approach for the challenge, but it works pretty well on this image. Maybe a slightly tighter crop on the left to eliminate the bright spot above the wall. |

Overgrownby bob_bobskiComment by nam: Yes, infrared works well for this subject. I especially like the round leaves in the upper left corner. |

Cinema obscura. 30 Minute, 1800 second exposureby bob_bobskiComment by bob_bobski: backdoorhippie Thanks for you comment, i think a number of voters missed the fact that this was a 30 MINUTE exposure. For me it was more about the technique, i realise that it isn't a great "looking" picture but that wasn't really the aim.
MadMan2k I hope you have taken the time to come back and read the details and that the shot now works for you.
posthumous It is slightly more than just a backwards upside-down camera. Check out the details of the shot. I turned one of the rooms in my house into a camera and then took a picture of the result, this took 30 minutes. Thanks for the hanging, at least it's in your fantasy gallery :-) |

Cinema obscura. 30 Minute, 1800 second exposureby bob_bobskiComment by JakeKurdsjuk: I'm not as much a fan of the photo as I am of what you did making it (I would have just moved on had I not read the title). Tough to wrap my head around it and actually give it a score, so I'm not - at least not for now - because I would give different scores for the technique and the result (which I might have cropped a touch). |
