To me you have your dof reversed. The flower, subject, is in the background, nicely focused, behind an out of focus leaf. BUT with your title, that is obviously intentional. Not sure how I feel about that or how it will go over. I have very mixed feelings about this. I'll give your credit for coloring outside the lines. And you did it very well. Just not sure personally, how I feel. It's not really appealling but there is something about it that holds your attention. I believe you have accomplished what you intended. For that you deserve a 10. For the photo itself I think, as is and as a photok, it deserves a 5. Together they get you a 7.5

I like how you have the pink flower in the center of all the colors that are used alot. I also like how the wood brings oput the color in the flower more. Nice Work

Comment by JamieWillmott:
The subject seems too obscured for a cliché flower picture.

The fence seems to be the closest thing in focus. A little unappealing to me.

Comment by GinaRothfels:
This was judged very harshly for not fitting the challenge and for its post-processing. The processing really appeals to me, but I tend to restrict this kind of thing to my personal photos because I know how people vote here. Don't be discouraged by this score - a lot of people scored you much higher.

Comment by PTLParsons:
Too bright. Sky is blown out. Actually hurts eyes. Good focus and crop, and decent subject. Just needs toned down some. 5 PTL
