Chew Toy!.....Snake?by myraComment by alien2thisworld: Lol :) I love this picture. I can totally see the caution he feels while studying this strange looking toy. That is the look my 3 yr old golden gives my vacuum when it's running. Cautioned Curiosity :) |

Canyonby myraComment by jaxed: There's such a painterly quality to your photographs. I like the muted lightness to them. Viewed as thumbnails several of your photo's look like paintings. Keep up the originality, they are beautiful:) |

house on Highway 21by myraComment by Jutilda: I really like the composition of this. The single building amidst the countryside is always a pleasant shape on a flat plain. I'm wondering if you adjusted curves a bit if it wouldn't enrich the tones a bit? Just a thought. |

Cold Longnecks at the Creekby myraComment by alfresco: Nice shot. The focus is great. Nice lighting. Bokeh is nice in the background. The b/w (sepia?) is perfect for the subject. I wonder how a portrait crop would make this look. Nicely done Myra.
Hope Rita didn't make too much trouble for you. |

fallen treeby myraComment by alfresco: I like it. Suggestions to try: clone out the power lines, a tad of contrast adjustment, up the green saturation a wee bit, try to bring some texture out of the sky (mask the ground and do curves and/or friends only on the sky). I like the subject matter and really like how the branches look like trees themselves, if the tree is still there maybe another shot to enhance that feel from some other angle (but that's me and I wasn't there when you were there and didn't see what you saw). Overall, nice. |

layersby myraComment by alfresco: Classic distance shot. Looks a tad oversharpened. Nice comp, I love the desert. |

moundby myraComment by alfresco: I like the composition. It seems the blues/cyans could get a little boost, and maybe a little more contrast. Overall nice, makes me pine for the desert :) |

River at Duskby myraComment by UNTITLED: Very beautiful picture and very beautiful land. A slight adjustment in position and zooming in on the right and lower two-thirds emphasizing the river more would of also made an interesting photo. Not a critique, I love your composition(lord knows mine need help), just a shot I'd kind of like to see. Keep up the good work! |
