if I recall the renaissance period was fron the middle of the 15th century to the end of the 16 century. Pocket watches only came into use from the 17th century...

That being said the idea is interesting, and a less slightly sharper focus would really lift this image.

I get that the watch is old, but I don't know the year by looking at the watch. I wish you title the shot with a year. For that reason, if I were compiling a time capsule I would leave this image out. Im not a fan of the silky background. To be honest this looks like you're trying to sell the watch on ebay. I hope this feedback is helpful. If your photo finishes lower than you had hoped this might be the reason. If so, I hope this comment is for the good. Good luck.
