Thanks for the kind comments, guys! As this was my first go I didn't know what it would look like when it was actually on the site.

It is a bit blurry and I will put more care into the shot next time.

I did look at the shot in black and white, but without the focus, the detail was lost. So I turned up the red instead to make it look more raw.

This is a good example of mechanics some might overlook, good idea!

The hands stand out good on the black backround to get your idea across but personally I think this may have looked better in black and white but I'm sure you got your reasons for keeping it color. :)

Your skin tones appear to be a little off and for a shot like this the soft focus doesn't do it justice...
