At first glance I was distracted by a couple of things. The half leg on the left and the stool leg in the background in the upper right. A tighter crop would have been better here. Everything else seems okay. The focues on the horses leg is nice with the boots in the back being soft and out of focus. The color in the boots add a nice touch. Other than the few things I mentioned it's a nice shot.

Only thing I don't like is the white spot on the top left of the image. Spot on focus regardless. Such detail in the eyelashes.

Interesting shot - you had the same problem as I did with my "Wall eye" pic - cropping out the distracting white corner cuts out part of the eye! Very sharp and clear.

I know you were trying to get the self portait in the eye but IMO the eye itself is the interest and the image in it is almost distracting. It would be good to get the image of someone with a rope or a saddle in the eye but I have no idea how to do it! Might give that a try one day!

This is just a tad weird for me. The green lines under the eyes and the blue lips just offend my eyes. I like the pose and lighting though. I guess people are loving or hating this huh? lol.

I had a similar idea in my head, to use face paint. The coloring is just way bizzare if thats what you were going for. decent final result.
