POVby DidymusComment by Didymus: Thanks for your feedback, folks.
The story in the photo is this: a group of guys (Norwegian, I think) were walking down the street, apparently after a few happy drinks. At one place they stopped and asked one of them to take a group picture. The guy dug out a compact and slowly and carefully lied down on the street to get a better angle. I happened to pass by and had a one second window to take the shot. So, the group was not posing for me, which may qualify the photo as a candid. On the other hand, they were laughing and looking straight into my lens, so there was nothing candid about the scene and the guys were quite easy about someone photographing them.
I agree about tilt and all, but personally I like the spontaneity of the moment.
Regards to all,
Tarmo aka Didymus |

POVby DidymusComment by Camabs: I don't get it. That doesn't mean it's a bad photo, but it does mean you are not conveying your message to at least one viewer. My main problem with the picture is that 'feels' terribly tilted. Furthermore, there is quite some distraction in the background. (4) |

POVby DidymusComment by slaakso: Looks like too much October festing. Great clarity and perspective and use of the sloping street. |
