Some thoughts. This image fits perfectly with my mood today. I asked my wife Rita if humans would be around in a billion years and she answered, 'not likely'. It comes to me that the luck I've had to be born and brought into existence at this time and in this country is lucky beyond belief. At my Grandma Sally's funeral they played a song she wanted played at the church, 'Count your blessings' and I do every minute of every day. This is a beautiful photograph Shannon.

Almost feels like he has angels watching his every move. The hand and the shadow on the white wall(looks like an upraised arm) turn this into a very special moment. For some reason, it reminds me of, don't laugh, an old master's religious painting.

I would not have put this down as one of yours. I have to say I LOVE the composition, especially the fact that the bright red of the cycle and cyclist adds to the sense of interloping. I do find the light flare and slight central light haze a bit offputting, but the fact that this scored in the 3's is quite frankly astonishing to me

Sounds like you need an adventure. Poignant photo. One does not often get to use such a pleasing word... You know, one has such periods often prior to being sucked up into some sort of relationship that leads on to.... Here I am looking back on life nodding my head, remembering such pathos. Now, two little daughters later there is no time for anything... life, and life only.
