Good concept..
People these days actually use a calculator for small problems like that. Especially here in America..
Back in my home country [Ecuador], we weren't even allowed to use one on an exam.
But when i came here, the teacher would tell me to USE the calculator all the time! that, that was the reason it was invented for.. 'Less thinking, quicker working'. I couldn't believe it.

So there's a little story for you.

Good fit for the unnecessary part of the description! Nice clear focus and good composition. My only suggestion might be to raise the calculator a bit to help tone down the glare on the lighter surfaces.

Rather good idea. The composition is spot on. The symbolism is more or less correct for indulgence. But it could also be something else too, such as Fear of Math or something.
