Chihuly Was Hereby yakatmeComment by livitup: Way too busy and just generally surreal! The color is there, but the photo doesn't give me any lines or guidance of what to look at. |

Chihuly Was Hereby yakatmeComment by ShotMD: Very interesting location... I look forward to seeing where this is. I love the color and variety in the balls. I wonder if moving them down from middle frame to lower 1/3 would give them more energy and help them hold the eyes more. Currently you have competing background/forground with no clear winner so the eye jumps back and fort over the balls. |

Burning Bushby yakatmeComment by CNovack: I really like the way how you composed this shot. The natural arch of the building really acts as a wonderful frame to Chihuly's glass tower. Like another individual said the shadow on the bottom right is a bit distracting - a closer crop taking out most of the concrete groundplane would remove that distraction and strengthen the composition by keeping focus primarily on the arch to act as a frame. You beautifully captured the wonderful vibrant colors of the red and yellows of the sculpture as they appear in the garden. My only nit is that those trees in the background distract away from the main attraction - the yellow and red tower. But one can't do much about that for Fairchild Gardens as that is part of the permanent part of the grounds. |
