This is a good shot. If this was in the middle of a game then you did a wonderful job. You got the main subject in focus and you blurred the rest getting back on defense. The only thing I can say is the court is tilted a little. That can cause for static which makes it a bit unattractive. You used the rule of thirds nicely and the color is very good considering you were in a halogen light Gym. Was it possible to set you White balance manually? If not then Bravo. I am not sure if there is a problem with the whitebalance but if you used auto for it try customizing your WB. it can make a great diff.

I like how the girl with the ball is crisp and in focus. The lighting in this shot is strange but looks good. the picture overall draws a lot of attention to the girl with the ball. Though I might have cropped the benched players in the top right out of the shot.

If the moving players were a little less blurred than they are (I know that you were trying to blur them) then I would of scored you slightly higher. jgillard6

you might have slightly rotated the photo and cropped it so the focus could be exclusively on the players. nice shot.
