It's too bad the technical side of this isn't just right, because the crossed necks like that is a neat shot! The sky is really bright against the giraffes being almost too dark I think. Hard to balance those out when you're shooting against the bright. It also appears fairly noisy to me, and the slanting background and bit of green are rather distracting (not like you could tell the giraffes where to stand! LOL) A fun shot.

Good photo, but as a B&W I would've liked to see more grey tones. It seems a little blan to me. Maybe different lighting would help?

Though I know its not what you were going for, it shows a unique perspective of the kitty snout. His fur and whiskers are in great focus and his little tooth is just peaking out. the angle is strange but it forces you to take your time looking. I think it works.

I agree about the angle of the shot, for the purpose of putting the head against full sky. Other than that, this is truly a beautiful shot that I like very much. I disagree about the foreground being too busy...I like to see a little detail and some interest there myself. The mood of the shot is very solitary, even though we know of course that he's not there alone!

I think this is beautiful. Great contrast in colors and textures! The spiral is perfect and all looks very good in this shot. Maybe some better focus... but overall I love it.

I don't like this.... His hairy legs and shiney ring are distracting to me. :) Kind of a strange crop... perhaps a better description of what you were going for could put me in your mind set.

Great view and eye on this one. I love these kind of photos... its so simple you say, "darn I should have thought of that". thats what its all about! Perhaps if they were shiney they would be more pleasureable.
