Cheese Pleaseby horsemadgirlComment by airatic: Not enough depth and a bit blown out in the highligts. Sharpness is good, and there's some texture here, but nothing draws my eye into this image. |

Cheese Pleaseby horsemadgirlComment by KiwiShotz: Good enuff to eat. Have a look at it after discarding the bottom half o fthe frame. The power is akk in there and the rest detracts from it. The reflected light on whatever that is standing up is just captivating, as is the glow of the shreds at top and the see through point of the wedge. Cropped I think it might have scored a 10 |

pathby horsemadgirlComment by Balko: This is a wonderful scene, but flat. Besides rhe problem sky, there just isn't enough tonal range to make it interesting. |

giraffesby horsemadgirlComment by Balko: The crossed necks is a wonderful capture! I don't like the background, though I know you had little control there. |

Can't see the fish for the rainby horsemadgirlComment by saintaugust: wow, what a great shot. i would have voted this a 9 if a couple of things were changed - i think the contrast could be a bit higher, and i would have cropped it along the bottom to make the pic less 'square'. but nice shot!

pantsby horsemadgirlComment by suprada: Nice. I wonder what you were trying to portray. cant seem to find any message in the photo... (or maybe my dead imagination)
Have you tried a high contrast version of this image? might look different. |

pathby horsemadgirlComment by suprada: Nice photo. A couple of suggestions. As previously noted, clouds or something in the sky would have made the photo more interesting. Alternatively you can probably try shooting the photo with no sky...That would be kind of interesting.
When I see the picture, my eye follows the curving path and leaves me wondering as to whats ahead. Just cutting the sky out and focussing on the greens and the path might add to the mystery.

Can't see the fish for the rainby horsemadgirlComment by jpochard: The pinks just look awesome against the dark water. The unique vantage point gives this lots of interest and the focus and exposure are very good IMO. I wish it somehow wasn't quite as centered, but then again I'm not sure if changing that would make the angle less appealing. (?) Anyway...one of my favorites in your portfolio. |
