Nick, this was my first entry at dpc, and it, also, was an attempt at humour. The challenge title was Holy Places, and I titled mine Unholy places.
It scored next to last place with 3.61.

Voter's here aren't forgiving of bad pictures - even when humour is the point.

This is a really beautiful shot and it's really a bonus to know there was no post-processing done. Your photo gives me hope for great original off the camera shots. Don't get me wrong. I'm thankful for software that can do wonders but I do prefer to spend more time taking pictures than tinkering on the image after. Didn't vote in this challenge but the fact that you finished in 36 place out of over 300 entries - I'd say that in itself is a tribute to its originality!!! Very impressive, especially only after 3 challenges! You should be celebrating. :)

Sorry guy's it was a bad attempt at humor. The "Get Well' was meant for the flowers. They looked pretty sad.
