Bountiful LDS Templeby nutsahoyComment by ASTONishing: I like it when people frame a building with something living....great contrast of organic versus man-made.
the haze/fog is hurting the shot. because of the haze there seems to be too much contrast between the trees and everything else. they seem to draw the eye too much.....takes away from the subject. |

3.14159265............... and on foreverby nutsahoyComment by surfdabbler: Hmm, stretching the challenge a little, but I just told someone else to think outside the box, so we can't have everything. The dark shadow is odd, particularly being right in the middle of the image. It might have been better to take a few steps forward and either use the shadow to darken the fg, or get rid of it altogether. |

3.14159265............... and on foreverby nutsahoyComment by eqsite: This is an interesting idea, but because the trail leads out of the frame, it feels like it stops, whereas if it went on to the horizon and the horizon was visible in the frame, that would give a stronger sense of the infinity that you are going for. From a technical standpoint, the shadow across of the middle of the image takes a lot away from it. |
