I would really like this shot a LOT if that one petal weren't bent funny :-) It seems to be backlit? Even if not, I really like the glow around the center of the flower...very nice.

The 'guard petal' on Bishop Darlington and roses of that ilk have always bothered me for the difficulties they present photographically; this is a nice treatment. The back-lighting works especially well. Mostly, I like the soft look of the photo, but I wonder whether a little sharpening would have improved the look of the stamens.

The colors in your image are nice, they blend well. I also like the closeness of the photo. The one thing that is distracting is the white spots in the center and to the left. Otherwise very nice, soft photo, good job.
