I see minimum sized subjects not a minimalistic image.
Besides, neither the animals or the cathedral are strong subjects, if tha's where you were going - they don't stand out.
When I look at the picture, all I see is a "straight and narrow path", surrounded by trees - and this is, in my opinion, the main subject, which is not minimalistic at all.
Maybe I'll think differently when I read your explanation...

Feels a little busy for a minimalist piece, but nice all the same. Very bland sky which spoils it a little
