Old Desert Houseby itsrazziComment by brianlh: Looks great - the high contrast here might work better as a stark black and white, or by pulling in the highlights and shadows a bit to give some more detail. Wonderful atmosphere here as well. |

Luxor.jpgby itsrazziComment by brianlh: Looks wonderful - way to capture the opportunity! The only suggestion that I can come up with is regarding the palm trees - they seem to be in a vague area between silhouette and having some slight color/detail - I would suggest taking them into photoshop and selectively darkening only the trees (or lightening, if you prefer). |

Big_Rock.jpgby itsrazziComment by brianlh: that last post must've been cuz of the monitor i was on - my home (and slightly more accurate, i would like to think) monitor shows the picture much better than the one at school.. the parts that looked blown out don't really seem that bad anymore (thought might still benefit from some burning? not sure) |

Big_Rock.jpgby itsrazziComment by Jinjit: The best in the series IMO.
I love the colors, the light, the dark skies, the POV...
The texture on the rocks is a wonderful display of the power of nature.

Big_Rock.jpgby itsrazziComment by brianlh: First off - very nice picture!
But I think it could also be improved to be a fantastic one - I would sort of like to see the highlights in the rocks pushed a bit darker - there seems to be a _slight_ loss of detail in them, and the bright lighting doesn't match the mood of the clouds very well. It isn't necessary that they are totally similar, but the huge contrast between the two just says "not real" to me (maybe it is - who am I to judge what 'real' weather is like when I live in LA?) |
