I love photos like this. This is really pretty. Great job shooting into the sun without blowing anything out. Very expertly done! :)

the object is already isolated by position here. would still be a good shot if the sun wasn't totally blown out - you could have cropped it off

love it, I wonder if a thicker layer of sugar would have improved the photo?

It does show texture but not much of interest.

here's a tip I've always found useful when doing portraits: When your model is sitting or leaning in an unusual position have them extend their face as forward towards the camera as possible to create the illusion of a slimmer face - (for models that are heavier set this is a really helpful technique). Also, you'll want to keep your models chin down as opposed to level or up as it also helps create more angles.

Nice. I'd crop the top off. The eye tends to go to the brightest parts of the image first ... and in this case, there's nothing to look at there. So just crop it. Maybe a tiny bit off the bottom to ... make the image "personal". :-)

Sorry, I'm not digging this one. The sun light was just too harsh ... both on her face as well as on the background. And that blur distracts more than helps. You definitely want to focus on the face... but not by making it look forced. Lead the eye into the center, don't shove it.
