This is a nice idea, but I think you need to have the boards align with the bottom frame and have you focus on the water with a very fast shutter speed to convey the turbulence (or a slow one for the opposite different mood).

Nice pic. The background is a little distracting in certain areas due ot the windows being there. If the curtains were closed or a black sheet put in the background i think this would have been much prettier but as it is it's still damned nice.

I'm not sure it would've been possible for you but I think I would've scored you better had the background not been what looks like the windows. Not everyone has access to studios, but a I think dropping down a bit of light cloth behind your subject so that we can focus on just the flowers would've scored you better. 6 here.

Nice flowers. A better backdrop would greatly improve this photograph. I think the window in the background detracts from the subject.
