Dillo in the skyby WalesPComment by Yo_Spiff: How am I to run over him way up there? A good enough shot, though I think you could have perhaps done something to crank up the wow factor. Lots of great rusty crusty detail in this one that would have responded well to just a small amount of Topaz, clarify, or some other variety of tonemapping. |

Dillo in the skyby WalesPComment by jonkster: I think this has potential but wondering if the interesting bits (for me the top half of the image) wouldn't have been better if made more dominant.
The bottom half takes up a lot of image and the composition seems to aim the eye there but isn't that interesting - sorry had to give it 5 but personally think it could have been worth much more with a different angle of shot and cropping. Potential is there. |

Portrait Practiceby WalesPComment by Ja-9: Since you are practicing...here are the things that bother me...the tilt of her head...hyper extends her neck, most women do not need to have their necks emphasized. and the different colored ear rings they distract me...a little more eyeliner, lip gloss and face power to soften the shine on her face. I like her eyes they are engaging me, but that bang in the middle of the eye...makes me (and I'm a hairdresser) want to push it out of the way...I want to see her eyes... |
