Brightest part that grabs my eye is the jewelry, so you acheived making it the main focal point. Not sure the composition / crop is best for the shot, as there is too much competeing with the earring. (5) |

Red Hatby joyinlightComment by ursula: I think that the idea is good, but as it is the picture is a bit too busy to work for minimalism. Maybe getting a bit closer and having just the hat and grass, hat in one corner of the picture? I don't know if that would work, but it might be worth trying. |

I would have made sure that the top of the ear was not showing but rather the bottom even if it was only slightly visable so we could see the clip more.
