This is dark, with a blue color cast and muddled. I don't know what to look at or where you want me to look. The composition has no real thought in it with everything cropped. If your taken on lines is the telephone line then I don't think you have captured it very well. If I was going to say something positive about this shot it's that the writing is in focus. 2.

Looks like it might be quite a nice go set, though I can't see evidence of clam shell stripes on the white stones. Nice idea for a shot but I don't think I would have set up the board in such an implausable position. Also relies heavily on the viewer's understanding of the rules of go. I think your lighting might have made the white stones lighter to help the viewer distinguish the two colours more readily. I like the shallow depth of field and the B&W. 7

ok while I catch the separation it seems to fit isolation better to me. I beleive that I would be able to score this better if I had any clue at all what I was looking at. I am assuming this is some type of game simular to othello. so i'll have to base my score off of that asumption. Technicaly a decent phot but I don't feel thaat the shallow DOF worked well here.

Returning for comment. You got a good idea here. This shot is not in as sharp focus as it could be. The white balance appears to be a little off as well. With regard to composition, there doesn't appear to be a main focal point - my eye kind of keeps wandering around for a place to land. Overall, this was a decent attempt at something creative.
