There is good detail and the focus is very good. The biggest problem I see here is the shadowing and the redtones to the right side of the photo. The take away from what had the potiental to be an exceptional photo.
It does meet the challenge but I would have liked to have seen a little closer crop. |

self portraitby johnny_justjohnnyComment by ChrisW123: Cool abstract. The right angles aren't strong enough however. This probably won't do well (unfortunetly) because people just don't like abstracts here. They like pics that make "perfect sense" to them. :D

lisaby johnny_justjohnnyComment by Pidd: For this particular challenge, I would have liked to have seen you pull in a little tighter to lose every bit of the background. Your lighting may be a little harsh. Losing the reflection on her forehead and cheek might soften her skin and complexion. Nice capture of her eyes. |
