Unlikely encounterby gkochComment by gkoch: For everybody who commented on our "carpet": it's a towel and it's supposed to be grass. I guess I didn't get that across at all :-) But don't worry about our floor. We use carpet, not towels for that... Second: I didn't knock the little guy over once. Timing was quite easy. I used front curtain sync for the flash and then I pulled the car backwards during the rest of the exposure. |

Unlikely encounterby gkochComment by owennnn: Unlike all the shots that depict a child's toys, this shot manages to capture the imagination which only a child possesses |

Unlikely encounterby gkochComment by Kavey: This is sooo silly and yet I keep coming back to it. I am not sure about the dark background but it does provide good contrast for the bright car. Your carpet is scary ;) 7, Kavey |

Unlikely encounterby gkochComment by jsabbarton: This shot was – I think - a lot harder to get than it looks. The car is moving; the shutter has to fire at exactly the right moment and at the right speed to get the effect of speed and movement. I may be wrong, but I think it was done using fairly low light and a slow shutter speed. Whatever you did, I like the effect, and however you did it, it worked, and it worked well. Great shot, great ideaâ€Â¦ (10) |
