I don't feel that the image conveys instantly recognizable decision. A picture of a flower, and a decent one at that. This should have been in the beauty contest, it would have scored higher me thinks.

wow - mine haven't even budded yet! Not sure what would improve this image for me - there are many ways to go with this. I don't know if your camera is capable, but a really short DOF would have blurred the background so the flower stands out more. You may also try getting in closer - but that would only work if you have macro mode. The red looks to be a little oversaturated but it does make the flower stand out! Good luck in the challenge!

Hmm, I have a difficult time understanding how a poppy can be decisive. Is it deciding to bloom? I guess the decision part of this picture is not clear enough to me. That said it's a beautiful shot and could be improved by being a little closer to fill more of the frame.

This image seems to suffer from oversaturated reds and greyed greens. Completely centered (a circle) inside the square crop, detracts from the interest level of the image and leaves it feeling flat. The interior of the flower is a beautiful capture in focus and outstanding in detail and color, that portion alone would make a great macro if it could be expanded to fill the whole image.

Alone however this image does not tell me a story of decision or decision making. Perhaps someone choosing to pick or not to pick the flower would have been a more obvious communication of the challenge concept to this viewer. Someone reaching from the side, the flower's profile. I can only offer a 2 compared to other entries in this challenge.

How did a flower shot get in this challenge? I thought this was a distinctly flower proof topic! I admire your audacity :)
