Your title provides a new way to think about the arches in bridge trestles, and I think creating a new viewpoint is a very good thing to do. I like the repeating effect created by your through-shot - i wonder if that part (not the bridge overall) could be a bit more centered - the second trestle looks off by the smallest amount.
