Always Openby mjcecilComment by DrJOnes: I love the use of B&W in this one. Nicely framed. Nice composition. Nice textures. 7/10 |

Always Openby mjcecilComment by FranziskaLang: challenge -- met technical -- good. i do wonder though why you chose b&w. but maybe it would be clear if i saw the color version ;) composition -- i'm not sure exactly how i would change this, but i feel that i'm looking exactly onto the wall, and it kind of cuts the photo in half. i think it's because you probably wanted to get in both the window display and the street. overall -- 5 from gr8photos |

Always Openby mjcecilComment by decoteau: Incredible depth of field and the double entendre of the title is great. The black and white makes for a nice effect - one that I wish more photographers had tried in this challenge. |

Urban Wasteby mjcecilComment by lisae: All the elements in this photo gel really well for me. I just LOVE rubble :). I volunteered on some archaeology digs when I was a student, and carrying around buckets of dirt, pulling up the foundations of old houses, etc. was so much fun. Scenes like this give me a real sense of history and make me wonder at the stories this building could tell. 10 - lisae |
