A Peek from Beneathby brooklynComment by TooCool: INteresting composition! Much potential here. Things to improve: Focus is soft. Colors are very dull (levels adjustments needed in photoshop or whatever program you use...) Light colored plant parts (stem or piece of straw) that runs from middle left to upper right if removed simplifies the composition.

Past Usefulnessby brooklynComment by KDO: The depth of field and the crisp images in this shot are great. I also love the selective desaturation. Great motif of doors and windows. This is a nice change of pace from all the shiny metal in this challenge is is one of my favorites. Nice shot and processing. 10 |

Past Usefulnessby brooklynComment by mycelium: By the fact that it's the only element in the picture that's in color, I take it that you meant the rusty hinge to be the focal point of the composition. If so, it's generally better to have the FP farther from the border of the image, lest too much of the image become dead space distracting from the focus. |
