I don't get any sense of 2-seconds from this.

Comment by LalliSig:
You got some seriously bad artefacts in the shot and I see it´s only 11kb, try to make use of the full 150kb you are allowed next time and your score will go way up, the quality of this image is horrible as it is, sorry.

This shot is over processed. Not sure what to suggest to fix it. Sorry.

Hmmmm.. not sure what happened here, but there are tons of jpeg artifacts and you can barely see any detail of the image.

this is a great shot, but I a not sure it is demonstrating the sprit of the 2 second challenge...while it may have been a 2 second exposure, it might as well have been a 1/200 exposure if you know what I mean

Comment by MadMan2k:
The low key lighting has potential, but it's heavily compressed so there's a lot of JPEG artifacts going on. Maybe make use of the full 150kb limit next time so you can present the picture as well as possible?

Greetings from the Critique Club!

Technical: Well exposed photo which has lots of potantial if played in post-processing.

Challenge: Cannot be tightly coupled with theme, but the title gives the hint.

Conclusion: Overall a good photo technically, but needed more work in postprocessing. If you notice carefully, your "whites" are not really white but are a little grey. You need to do white point adjustment for this one and it will also improve on the contrast. Since the subject is not very unique, its good to have some different angle or crop to make such shots more interesting.

You have got some real nice wildlife pictures in your profile. Goodluck for future submissions.

I'm by no means expert in area of photography. My comments are purely based on my limited understanding of technology and art behind digital photography. Apart from doing detailed evaluation of your submission, my intent is to learn different styles of photography by critically evaluating selective submissions. If you've got any questions about this critique, please feel free to contact me via email or PM.

Wish you a great day!

very nice capture - not important, but there are no "buzzards" in U.S. and the real name is turkey vulture, just for clarification
