Good choice of subject, nicely composed. The light is lovely but it seems to cast attention on the field rather than on the generators. The clouds look a little grainy to me but I'm not going to vote down for that because this is a new monitor and I don't trust it yet. :)

An image that demonstates the subject matter of the challenge in spectacular fashion with excellant DOF and color control. Both a technical and artistic success that more than adequately meets the challenge subject in particular with the grayscale shades. An excellant entry into the challenge.

Added: Ok voting now. I can't figure out why you might consider the Sydney Opera house to be tacky. Maybe it's a Cliche shot, but if I visited Sydney, I would certainly take my share of pics of this place. Not as over-photographed as Toronto, however. But then, I believe 40% of DPC members live in Toronto.

I was going to go out and do a shot of the Opera house as well, but it rained all bloody week so in the end I never bothered entering anything. I see from the sky you faced the same problem :)
