The Mansionby vascComment by Crisik: these two trees make it too symetric, i would prefer one of them cut down (or may be just taken from different angle :) |

The Mansionby vascComment by KJShover: I can't really explain it, but it looks like one of those old photos taken in the 1890's you would find in an old book. I just like it. well done. |

The Mansionby vascComment by CrystalFury: I'm thinking maybe...too much contrast. It just seems a little harsh. Good composition and choice of subject though. |

The Mansionby vascComment by charmayne: cool bldg maybe a little too much with the contrast effect tho it does add to the abandoned look |

The Mansionby vascComment by dahkota: I really like the starkness of this image - makes it very interesting. I probably would hae cropped a little more on the left - or better yet, outside the challenge maybe clone out the building behind so you can keep the stairs. Beautiful detail on the building. 6 |

The Mansionby vascComment by notonline: Nice interpretation of the challenge. I find the photo to be a little on the dark side and a bit to much USM. That is not a bad thing tho because I find it adds a certain uniqueness to this photo. The trees in the front are very distracting and altho the photo itself doesn't suggest abandoned it is above average from what I have seen in this challenge. I just noticed as well that it appears to be off level but that could be the angle of the shot. either way well done and good luck in this challenge. |

The Mansionby vascComment by Brad: Great composition. Your choice for making it a B&W was a wise choice.
Well Done! |

The Mansionby vascComment by charliebaker: Good choice for BW, but perhaps a bit over darkened? Also, I'm not convinced this place is "abandoned", maybe they just took a vacation in the Canary Islands. Good luck. |
