I'm sure there's some deeper meaning to this image than what I'm seeing that relates to this challenge. It's very "artistic" with the high contrast and B/W approach. I do find the burned area of her shirt and pants to be distracting as it turned out grey and kind of jumps out - which is probably the opposite of the intended effect.

The darkness really helps show off the textures and warm colors of the breasd and basket. I think you could get away with even less negative space up top, thereby bringing the subject into a more prominent position. I also like the effect the crumbs have on this composition. Very nice job on this challenge.
