Broken car, spine and clavicle - An exercise in extractionby kremkexComment by kremkex: This is one picture I really wish I hadn't entered. When I submitted it, I thought that it would be evident from the title that it was taken during an exercise and with hindsight, "Firebrigade on exercise" would have been a better title. The comments show however that I was mistaken and that many believed it to have been taken at the site of an actual accident.
To those who were hurt by my photo or offended by it, I apologize. It was not my intention. |

Broken car, spine and clavicle - An exercise in extractionby kremkexComment by e301: Extraordinarily staged quality those work lights allow one to capture, no? I'm not certain about your framing - or cropping. There seems to be undue dead space at the bottom of frame, and a claustrophobicly close crop at the top. No visible head to the victim - a step to the right might easily have fixed that - and my immediate feeling would have been to get lower, allow the elements to distribulte themselves throughout the shot more. |

Broken car, spine and clavicle - An exercise in extractionby kremkexComment by samtrundle: I can't believe I'm hearing my 21 year old liberal self say this - but this is in poor taste. Even if it was in good taste there is nothing particularly exciting about the composition etc to appeal to me. The lighthearted title is the worst part of this image. Im actually astounded that you titled this that. I know there are know dastardly intentions behind this image - but next time think a little more please. I'm going to abstain from voting this a one, but I'm tempted. There are enough ambulance chasers in the world - let's not have dpc'ers sinking to the paparazzi.'s level. |

Light --- Northern & Houseby kremkexComment by tyrkinn: Flott mynd! Varðandi "banding" vesenið (lÃÂnurnar àkornótta dótinu) þá gæti þetta verið út af villu à20D vélinni. Það er komið nýtt firmware update á hana (sjá á www.dpreview.com). Hefðir mátt skerpa hana ögn minna, myndast smá "halo" á vitanum. Fallegur viti, og hentar vel àkeppnina. Til hamingju með þetta.
