Fantastic idea. The photo shows a lot of video-artifacts, though, which may actually be due to overexposure. Stopping down the lens, if possible could help, as could dropping the EV.

And yet again another person shooting with a flash...bad bad bad! Don't shoot with a flash directly at the reflective items. You get flash flair. Either make a home made diffuser (a plastic one gallon milk container) or use a sheet of white paper or something that's sort of transparent to achieve soft light that covers the items evenly.

The bright spot from you flash really hurts this shot. If you were to try some indirect lighting I think you would have better results.
