Mt. Timpanogosby fifieldComment by skief: Beautiful shot. I'm guessing some kind of lights to illuminate the rocks up front, and being a basic challenge, I'm not going to detract from the really bad blue hot pixel on the rock in front. Does seem to be a bit grainy in the sky and dark shadow of the mountain. |

Mt. Timpanogosby fifieldComment by jachang: I like how the rocks in the foreground make the mountain look really far away. Pretty stars, too. |

Mt. Timpanogosby fifieldComment by Tom_Robbrecht: Wow, this is an impressive photo.
Full moon ?
A bit too much noise for my liking though.
You might wanna look into Neat Image or Noise Ninja.

Mt. Timpanogosby fifieldComment by NovaTiger: It's a little grainy. Low light is such a pain, you know? However, this is a gorgeous shot! I really like how you added the rocks/hill in the foreground! Well done! |

Mt. Timpanogosby fifieldComment by charliebaker: The glory of the mountain in the background and the stars are spectacular. IMO the brightness of the foreground distracts the eye from this glory. A panoramic crop just above these foreground rocks would offer this wonder even more power. Thanks for an excellent entry. |
