This is very cute. I love the way she is studying the rose. The red really pops ( as it says on her shirt). Usualy I think portraits are better if there are no distracting words or symbols on the clothing but it kinda fits here. The little toes of the socks sticking out really add to this one.

Agreed on all accounts with the previous commenters! There is a very soulful quality to this image, and its all there in the eyes. The composition is good and I like the simplicity of it, the way the boy's face is turned slightly really offsets the eyes and gives them an even bigger impact AND I think it highlights the curve of his cheek and chin, hinting at a certain vulnerability. Excellent capture. I'm definitely adding it as a favorite.

I really like this shot....The green background makes a great contrast to the saffron and red clothing of the Monk - I am so glad that you showed his shoes... are they actually a matched pair?, To my eye, one looks very different from the other - looking at the crutches, the shoes, the peacefilled expression on his face, I think that this photo tells a story.
