I think this was somewhat under-rated (surprise!), but of course most people don't want to deal with things like literally vanishing lines which don't happen to converge in the image ...

A very slight change in position to the left might have reduced the glare spots on the left of the glass. In Advanced editing (or later), these could also be reduced by use of the burn tool.

I like the multiple vanishing points present; those in the back left of the woodwork, and the glass tubes disappearing through the "floor" of the display.

I like the colors, and the ant run is interesting. Is the vanishing point at the bottom of the glass cylinder? I guess that's how the ants would perceive it.

The intersting (potential) composition, with the slightly threatening parallel of that screw-eye and the tubes the encase the ants, is slightly undermined for me by your crop - I find that I'm having to ignore the right-hand side of the frame to find this image's strength. Like the stand-off of the insects, the sense of another world here, but I'm pretty certain Joe Voter won't agree with me. Sure there's a vanishing point, but off-frame, and not really contributing massively to the image's impact. 6

think that the white balance is off a bit, but it is a great concept..maybe you should have tried a different view poiny do yhsy yout vanishing point inside the photo
