This is an interesting arrangement. Part of me wishes the stuff in the foreground were in focus and part of me likes it the way it is. Use the colour balance and it'll help your whites pop.

i bet you are getting comments about the size of this photo. it is hard to see all the details, and it would have been nice if you'd used a width of at least 500 pixels (i know your photo's size is perfectly legal, i'm just telling you what i'd prefer :). the colors are great, so is the idea. nice sharpness, and the milk on the beak is a nice touch.
