in my opinion, DNMC. The point was to capture the black and white and the red umbrella is what sticks out the most.

I like this and it is largely a gray, wintry scene, but I think the impact is coming from the bright red on the umbrella and there are other shots in this challenge that aren't using color for their impact, which IMO is more in the spirit of the challenge. In a partial desat challenge this would be a great entry.

The nose piece seems to be the subject here because the eyes are so much more shadowed. Some processing would make this better. Good composition.
