This is still a picture of children (and, for the looks of it) a very recent picture as well. The little bear in the picture is really overdoing it. Apart from all this comment, the picture in the picture is well done. But that was not this weeks challenge.

I have to wonder if the eyes light up when you stick the pencil in his mouth. is this an actual pencil sharpener, or just a clever place to stick a pencil. The lighting and the angle are both good, however I think the wooden strip at the top of the photo is a little distracting from the photo. Overall great idea. Good luck with the challenge.

At first, i though the brown (floor?) at the top was distracting, but as i take a second glance, i think it helps compliment the angle of teh pencil, etc. Good focus and lighting. karmat

cute, and i like the gorilla, but the image does little to grab me. also, the strong diagonal in the upper part of the image is distracting from the overall composition, imo. (4) ~mcmurma
