~Ribbons in the Wind~by tmilobComment by mycelium: I think this might actually have worked better with a high shutter speed. The curling of the ribbons would probably have made it clear that they were being blown. Here there is nothing well enough in focus to make a compelling focal point for the picture. Still... it's way better than the zillions of flag photos in this challenge... :) |

A pleasant composition but the viewers will always crave a deeper dof. These are like the shots done using f32 with adequate distance to grab it all. However, the placement, design and comp are great and bumping up accordingly. |

~Mirage~by tmilobComment by kremkex: I like this one. There is a feeling of surrealism to it and reading the word "broken" from the bottom up only adds to it. I only wish there was something in the upper corners to make it more balanced. If you don't have any melting clocks handy, then perhaphs a goldfish to the left and a cabbage to the right? |
