This one is dramatic but lacks a bit in execution. The green eyes really pop, but the lighting is a bit too harsh (shadow under chin) and the srarpness needed to pull out the detail and make the dark subject dark background shot work is just not there. I would definitely try a reshoot. Good eye. Just needs a little tweeking.

Such intense eyes. Just what were they watching? Nice shot, I'm guessing you either used a gaussian blur and then cleared the eyes up or you have a very, very shallow DOF. I would like to have seen the whole face in focus at least. A 9

This is my second go-around =) - Very nice portrait!!! I am not sure if this is a studio set-up, in case it is I would recommend either a gold or silver reflect on the left side... this will add some hilghlights in his/her eye and bring out detail in the fur. It's so difficult photographing black pets... especially with so much white... you did an excellent job!!!
