Peek a Boo!by myqylComment by jonpink: Good Points: fantastic use of motion. well framed
Bad Points: not very exposed? and also underexposed by quite a bit. too much noise by far. try neatimage - it's free and can be very handy in images like this
Score:6 |

Peek a Boo!by myqylComment by robsmith: Good use of motion blur, shame about the noise in the image and the underexposure. |

Free Flightby myqylComment by pinback: Nice subject, but it looks more like it's sitting on the ground than flying, despite its spread wings. Highlights on the tail look a bit blown out. |

Free Flightby myqylComment by kiwiness: I really don't want to sound to hard but a critique is a critique right and not meant to be offensive at all, rather helpful. First of all this bird is not really in flight which was the main requirement of the challenge. Secondly, I find the crop is a little too tight, I would have left some more breathing space around it. Thirdly, the photo appears a tad to flat, maybe pumping the contrast a little by adding a brightness/contrast adjustment layer might have enhanced it somewhat. I still gave this photo a 6 though, because I like the stance of the bird that you have captured, the way its wings are spanned out and also the way it is looking. |

Free Flightby myqylComment by Swashbuckler: Well, it's not flying, but I'll not give you too much of a hard time on that. White is tough, the glare (over-exposed) tail really hurts this image, the head is better, but still a bit rough. Looks like it was a rainy day. 6 Rob the Swash |

Disco Angelsby myqylComment by myqyl: To those that didn't get it, welcome to the club :) It was a referance to a theology question that has been around for the last 5 centuries. "How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?"...
Anyone that wants more info on this question should really look into getting a life, but can find more at //www.kencollins.com/poll-06.htm :)
Oh, and yes, it was not a nail... It was a pin... |
