Mini Grand Prix Raises Money for Greenville Lion's Clubby andreblackComment by AmiYuy: This goes in order of what I notice first:
1) Crop to the action! I want to see just one car or one and the other behind it so that I know what is going on from the picture! (Newspaper challenge or not, it's too unfocused/not specific enough.)
2) I can't even see the lead car that well because it's black against black...
3) Good color otherwise.
4) Good sharpness.

Mini Grand Prix Raises Money for Greenville Lion's Clubby andreblackComment by Kolya: You could tighten this shot up by cropping out a lot of the road, sky and cones etc to the left of the image - perhaps just car 68 and the tires behind it - we'd still "get" the concept. The people waiting, street signs etc. just detract from the image (in my humble opinion). |

Mini Grand Prix Raises Money for Greenville Lion's Clubby andreblackComment by melismatica: This would be more effective if we could see crowds of onlookers watching the event instead of just those guys milling about in the background. They don't appear to be paying attention. This isn't the most exciting viewpoint. There is too much empty space in front of the tiny cars, effectively removing the viewer from the action. |
