Smooth as ice, Gillette Mach 3 Blueby f0rceComment by stephan: Cool lighting! I'll check back after the challenge to see how you did this. I think it's a bit dark because I can hardly make out the shaver but then again if it would be brighter then the shaving foam wouldn't look so nice. -stephan |

Smooth as ice, Gillette Mach 3 Blueby f0rceComment by PTLParsons: Too dark. Can't tell which direction the handle is going, or where the head is. The bright spot to the right of the cream is distracting as is the light spot past it to the right. Maybe the handle is the dark thing at the top of the photo behind the cream? If not it is distracting, if is it is not light enough to recognize as such. The cream by itself would have been a beautiful shot. I like it and it is the only thing that is really clear and able to recognize in the photo. Sorry. PTL 4 |

Smooth as ice, Gillette Mach 3 Blueby f0rceComment by artemis8: Love the lighting on the foam. The razor merges into the background too much. It would be better if there was a little light along the top edge of the razor to outline it. As it is, without the title, I would have a very hard time figuring out it's a razor. |

Smooth as ice, Gillette Mach 3 Blueby f0rceComment by Arachnophilia: the shaving gel (cream?) is rather interesting, but the razor is too dark against the black background, and is a little hard to pick out. other than that, the composition is well thought out, and the colors work well. the choice of a reflective surface was a good one. |

Smooth as ice, Gillette Mach 3 Blueby f0rceComment by justine: I think you had a good idea, but I think it's just too dark for any impact. The idea is oringinal, the color is good, but it's lost in the blackness. No, sweat I see what you were doing and appreciate your work. Justine |
