Great shot, but I wouldn't really say the shift is the focal point of the picture.

The colors are very nice and the focus is good. The staging of the photo lacks honesty. The child only has his finger in his nose - I don't believe that he's actually picking it, so the representation of the habit is a little diluted. The eyes could be lightened up, perhaps a little white bounceboard between you and the subject.

Yeah.. see.. if you are gonna photograph a gross habit, at least have good composition like this one. :)
