I don't find this subject very aesthetically pleasing. Some might consider a dirty drain to be artistic, but it's lost on me. Decent focus, framing and lighting though.

Unique idea for the challenge. I think alot of people probably have this habit. Picture could use a little more work on sharpness and lighting. Not really the kind of picture though that one sets up in a studio though so good job...

A wonderfully executed macro shot - I love how well we can see through the chex and all the way through the donut thing. The composition is a little less than interesting, perhaps more variation in the background or more isolation would have helped.

Back to this one again. I have pulled this one up 4 different times trying to figure out just what about it is bother me. I like the opposite of the square vs. round but something in the shot just doesn't sit quite right for some reason. I'm thinking it might be the background cereal for some reason. It's distracting to me personally and I think this would look better with just the two peicies or maybe the 4, the two to be the models and the two behind to hold them up. Also the reflection on the surface or shadows are a bit distracting to me. I started this at a 3 but am raising it to a 6, it's a great effort and with some tweeking I think it could be an awesome shot to me personally :)

Items have minimal interest in themselves, so need more dramatic composition and color to make up for it.
